Brighter DeKalb Foundation Proudly Serves DeKalb County Citizens
With a vibrant community of over 770,000 residents, DeKalb County, Georgia, faces significant challenges in Mental Health, Substance Use Disorder, and Intellectual Developmental Disabilities. Many individuals need support and resources to thrive.
The Brighter DeKalb Foundation promotes and advances equitable solutions for our diverse community. Last year, we worked tirelessly to support Claratel Behavioral Health and other nonprofits that enhanced the well-being of more than 10,000 individuals receiving behavioral health services, showcasing our commitment to fostering a healthier DeKalb County.

There are many ways you can contribute. Donations to the Brighter DeKalb Foundation support individuals receiving behavioral health services through various non-profits. We greatly appreciate your ongoing support. Your financial support will also aid in capital improvement projects to expand and introduce new behavioral health services to DeKalb County.

Donate to Our Critical Needs List
Currently, we are fulfilling the needs of clients enrolled in services at our Residential Programs who are experiencing homelessness. Providing what seems to be simple items needed for proper hygiene and clothing can affect one’s physical health, mental health, employability, and ability to receive adequate housing.
